Another good week under his belt, therapies are coming to a close and he only has a couple more weeks of treatments. He still is not having a lot of ill side effects from the treatments so that is really good, though he does get pretty tired. Penny, Sarah and I leave Thursday to take Sarah to school and I know Dad will be excited for her as she is attending Colorado School of Mines which is his alma mater......way back when! He has her class schedule and I know he will review it every day and tell Mom, "well she's in her Calculus 3 right about now, and will be heading to Chemisty next".
Hello
ReplyDeleteIt was sooo good to see you at the SPRC meeting Thursday. It was a long meeting, and everyone was tired, so I was especially impressed that you were able to "hold up" for the entire two hour + meeting! I'm sorry I haven't had the opportunity to see you at first service and hear the Praise Band. YOU missed the flowers on the alter this morning during second service. Briefly, my oldest daughter gave birth via C-Section to a 6 pound, 18 inch premie...we knew it would be a c-section ...and knew that the baby was at risk...so, prayers have been answered and mom and baby are doing fine. Both are a little weak and tired...but with God's help and continued prayer, will be home Wednesday of next week. I'm flying to St. Louis next Saturday...so, hope to see you in choir on Tuesday.
Hugs to you

Sylvia, I may need help and advice on being a Grandma...especially with them so far from St. George Ut.
Take care of YOU too!
